The lock kit is a little pricey but honestly a no-brainer if you leave your dog's crate in the truck bed overnight. The keyed locking door is sturdy and easy to operate even with cold fingers, and I love that it lets me secure the crate itself to the vehicle. Just wish the keys weren't so small, but
The keyed lock clicks in with a solid, reassuring sound, and it fits perfectly over the existing door handle. I can finally leave the crate in the truck bed without worrying about someone walking off with it while I’m grabbing supplies.
The keyed lock is a huge relief for road trips—I actually feel safe leaving the crate in the truck bed now. Took maybe five minutes to install and the mechanism clicks shut solidly, no wiggle. My dog's secure and so is my peace of mind.
