The 5-Layer system kept my dog bone-dry through a full morning of flooded timber, and the fit is snug without restricting her movement. Zippers still slide smooth even after being dunked in icy water. This is the first vest that’s actually held up past one season.
The zippers haven’t even hinted at freezing on me yet, which is huge after last season’s disasters. The 5-layer build keeps me dry and the fit actually stays put instead of bunching up mid-hunt. Worth every penny for the comfort alone.
The 5-Layer building is solid, and it keeps my chest dry through a morning hunt. But the fit runs boxy through the shoulders, so layering underneath gets awkward. Decent enough for the price, just not the perfect silhouette I hoped for.
