The 5-Layer system kept my dog bone-dry through a full morning of flooded timber, and the fit is snug without restricting her movement. Zippers still slide smooth even after being dunked in icy water. This is the first vest that’s actually held up past one season.
The zippers haven’t even hinted at freezing on me yet, which is huge after last season’s disasters. The 5-layer build keeps me dry and the fit actually stays put instead of bunching up mid-hunt. Worth every penny for the comfort alone.
Took this out for a cold morning hunt and the five-layer build kept my dog's chest dry the whole time, even after he broke ice twice. Only gripe is the zipper stiffened up in the cold until I warmed it with my hands.
