The bowl clips right into the kennel so it doesn't slide around when we're driving, which was my biggest worry. My dog figured out how to drink from it on the first try, and it holds enough water for a full day out.
Took this on a two-hour hike and my dog drank more than usual because the bowl stayed put in the kennel the whole drive. It clips in without rattling around, which my old plastic bowl never managed.
This bowl fits so snugly into the front of my kennel that my hyper pup can't even nudge it, which is a total win since I can fill it with water and not worry about a mess while we're on the road. The whole setup feels incredibly sturdy, too, and it keeps her hydrated during our long car rides withou
