The latch on this thing is solid enough that my escape-artist husky hasn't figured it out in three months. Dirt and mud hose right off the gunmetal finish, which matters when your dog finds every puddle at the trailhead.

We drove 14 hours to Colorado and the dog didn't make a peep the whole trip. The gunmetal finish still looks brand new after riding in the truck bed through rain and gravel. Feels like this crate will outlast my truck.
