The templated pages are what sold me — I've never kept a decent log before, but the prompts make it easy to jot down the details I'd otherwise forget. Had my initials stamped on the cover and it came out clean, not crooked or faded.
Bought this for my dad after his first buck in twenty years and the templated pages made it easy to jot down the date, weather, and who was in the stand with him. Getting his initials stamped on the front was a nice touch too.
I'm not a journaling person, but the templated pages make it effortless, and the leather feels substantial enough to survive years in a pack. Got it monogrammed for my dad for his birthday, and he's already planning which hunts go on which pages.
