Grabbed the handle after hosing down the kennel and it didn't slip once, even with wet hands hauling it across the yard. The rigid grip feels solid enough that I'm not worried about it snapping under weight, and it fits perfectly on my G1. Two thumbs up for a simple upgrade that actually works.
The rubber ridges on this handle make it so much easier to haul the kennel around after a muddy hike—my grip used to slip constantly, but not anymore. It fits our kennel perfectly and feels just as sturdy as the rest of the setup. Worth the few bucks for the convenience.
Bought this for my G1 crate after losing the original, and the rubber grip does stay secure even when my hands are wet. Still, for the price of a pack of two, I expected a bit more heft in the plastic base—feels solid enough, just not premium. Works fine, no complaints on fit.
