The keyed lock kit gives me real peace of mind leaving the kennel in my truck bed at trailheads. The lock mechanism feels solid and turns smoothly, and the door now stays locked even when I'm parked in a busy lot.
The lock kit is a little pricey but honestly a no-brainer if you leave your dog's crate in the truck bed overnight. The keyed locking door is sturdy and easy to operate even with cold fingers, and I love that it lets me secure the crate itself to the vehicle. Just wish the keys weren't so small, but
The keyed lock clicks in with a solid, reassuring sound, and it fits perfectly over the existing door handle. I can finally leave the crate in the truck bed without worrying about someone walking off with it while I’m grabbing supplies.
